helping out
18 May 2009 | By Carole in UncategorizedI was out downtown last week when I ran into someone who wanted to talk about the Miracle Marathon. You see this man had just had his child admitted to Children’s Hospital and he wanted to tell me that this year he would be donating during the marathon. I was saddened by the man’s story, but pleased with his decision to help out. That kind of thing happens a lot.
There are many people, who through no fault of their own, don’t understand how great Children’s Hospital is. They are forced to accept the fact after they become personally involved with the building and its employees. I understand that completely. Life is busy and we are all busy in it. We live each day in our worlds and if someone elses’s world intersects great.
Please don’t wait for your life to be directly affected, donate now and insure this hospital will continue to be our Children’s Hospital. Our Miracle Marathon starts on Wednesday and continues through Friday. You can go to the WKLH website and donate.
Trust me, you will not regret it.
